PhD in Computer Vision (Full-time)
DeepScenario is looking for a PhD student.
DeepScenario and TU Munich (TUM) are offering a PhD position in the field of 3D computer vision. You will join their dedicated team of experts and research algorithms for visual mapping, localization, and 3D object detection and tracking. Your work will enable the reconstruction of driving scenarios, which is essential for training and testing self-driving systems.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct state-of-the-art research in visual mapping, localization, and 3D object detection and tracking.
- Leverage your approaches to solve challenging real-world problems in autonomous driving.
- Publish your work at international conferences.
- Work closely with their team and supervisor, Prof. Dr. Daniel Cremers (TUM).
Your Qualifications
- MSc in computer science, engineering, physics, or a related field.
- Theoretical and practical experience in computer vision and deep learning.
- Team player with a passion for working in an intercultural environment.
- High degree of autonomy and excellent problem-solving skills.
