PhD in Video Generation (Full-time)
DeepScenario is looking for a PhD candidate.
DeepScenario and TU Munich (TUM) are offering a PhD position in the field of generative AI for autonomous driving applications. You will join their dedicated team of experts and research algorithms for photorealistic video generation to simulate realistic driving scenarios. Your work will enable closed-loop AI simulations, which are essential for training and testing self-driving systems.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct state-of-the-art research in closed-loop video generation using AI-based methods
- Leverage your approaches to solve challenging real-world problems in autonomous driving
- Publish your work at international conferences
- Work closely with the team and a supervisor, Prof. Dr. Daniel Cremers (TUM)
Your Qualifications
- MSc in computer science, engineering, physics, or a related field
- Theoretical and practical experience in machine learning and generative AI
- Previous knowledge of transformer and diffusion models is beneficial
- Team player with a passion for working in an intercultural environment
- High degree of autonomy and excellent problem-solving skills
