Funded by the Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR), the center makes a significant contribution to advancing AI research in Germany.
To strengthen their team, they are looking for a committed and responsible individual to ensure the smooth administrative operation of university buildings within the Tübingen AI Center’s area of responsibility. The position is equally suitable for applicants with a commercial or technical background and combines organizational, coordination, and technical-administrative tasks. Subject to the applicable collective agreement requirements, classification up to pay grade TV-L E9a is possible.
Your responsibilities
- Independent administrative management and coordination of university buildings assigned to the Tübingen AI Center
- Planning, organization, and coordination of move-in and implementation measures in cooperation with the building manager(s)
- Structured organization, documentation, and tracking of orders as well as repair and maintenance requests, including coordination of external service providers, quality assurance (including defect management), and preparation for factual and financial invoice verification
- Independent coordination and management of key interfaces between internal and external stakeholders (e.g., facility services, IT, media technology)
- Professional incident and damage management, including complete documentation
- Planning and coordination of organizational measures in the field of occupational health and safety
Your profile
- Successfully completed vocational training with several years of experience in an academic or research environment
- Technical understanding, particularly in building systems, electrical engineering, or media technology, is desirable
- Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety is an advantage
- Excellent German and very good English skills, both written and spoken
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Independent and structured working style, initiative, and strong organizational skills
