Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems exhibits research in Stuttgart City Hall
Im Rahmen des Wissenschaftsfestivals der Landeshauptstadt schwimmen und laufen Roboter durch die Flure.
On 15 October 2024, the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems presents three research projects at Stuttgart City Hall as part of the Stuttgart Festival of Science:
- an aquarium with a robotic jellyfish, aka JellyfishBot, swimming around
- a robot that imitates the movements of the person in front of it and/li>
- a robotic leg, aka Ecowalker, that walks..
The MPI-IS will be presented at the event ‘I have a vision. Stuttgart's science looks to the future’ from 5 p.m.. From 3 p.m., presentations and exhibits at Stuttgart's market square will attract visitors. From 7 p.m., the event is then only for invited guests.
The Stuttgart Science Festival will take place for the third time in October 2024. For 12 days, the focus will be on science. More than 100 events invite you to marvel, experience and discuss. There will be events focusing on ‘Freedom’ and ‘Bio-Intelligence’, but also on other current topics:
